The Comfort Inn Binghamton I-81 receives mixed reviews, with a strong emphasis on friendly and helpful staff, particularly Danielle, who went above and beyond to resolve a lost item issue. However, concerns regarding cleanliness, outdated facilities, and inconsistent service, including rudeness from some front desk personnel and issues with room conditions, are prevalent. Newer reviews suggest a recent improvement in cleanliness, but problems remain related to room quality and breakfast availability.

At the right price, it's a solid choice. Breakfast was adequate with hot and cold choices. Coffee, not so much. The room was clean and neat. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a bit dated but well cared for. Good shower experience though I would bring your own toiletries. For a little more than the Red.Roof.inn, I would choose this one.

Booked this hotel for 2 nights in October. When I booked it the total was $314. When I was charged I was charged a total of $359 with no notice of the change in price. They stated that it's because my reservation was added to a group and I was changed at the group rate but at no point did anyone tell me that being added to the group would cost me an extra $45. Obviously I would have declined being added to the group. I didn't know about the change in cost until my credit card was charged. The reservation in their App never showed the change in price, and I didn't look at it multiple times leading up to the reservation.

?????????? I had a great stay at this motel! The service was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was decent and convenient. Everything was well taken care of, and I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Stayed up for Parents weekend for Suny Binghamton. I had booked late and the price was as expected for this, really high. Everyone was super nice. When we left, we ended up leaving a pair of Apple Headphones and Boots for my little one in the room. We didn't realize until we were about 45 miles on our way home. I called the hotel and spoke to Danielle in the front. She went out of her way to locate the two items. She then took them to the pack and mail place the next day, on her day off no less. Today she texted me and followed up again to make sure I got in contact with them. She didn't have to follow up, she didn't have to bring them to the place, she went above and beyond and provided service because she's a good human being and that's what she does. There are more people in the world like her than we realize and we out to acknowledge it when it does happen.

Good basic hotel, clean and comfortable with outstanding staff. Our experience with Danielle at the front desk made this a place that we would come back to and send other people to when they’re in the area. Thumbs up!

Stopped on a business trip to Canada to grab some sleep. Front desk girls were very friendly and nice. Room was $140 and I wasn't expecting much. Travel a lot as a Professional Comedian so Im in hotels very often. With that said, the room and bathroom were not very clean and the chair was covered in multiple levels of stains of god knows what! Bath tub was gross as well. Very disappointed and will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. They used to be a decent mid priced hotel but not so much these days. But looks like I got some free comedy material for my show!

Extremely clean premises. The room was also nice. Extremely comfortable beds. This might be an older bldg but it's been updated really nicely. There's an outside pool, no hot tubs unfortunately. The breakfast is exactly what you'd expect, but it's free. Definitely would stay here again

Good location off the highway. Unfortunately, housekeeping let them down. Our shower/tub was filthy. Otherwise room was great, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was better than average.
