Made the reservation through Booking.com, and right before our stay my partner and I decided to extend it by an extra day. Since extensions through Booking.com must be approved by the hotel, I submitted the request and later called the hotel after not seeing a response. They told me I needed to request it through Booking.com — which I already had. The moment I got off the phone, the hotel approved the extension, so I assumed everything was settled. Unfortunately, during the extended stay, they kicked my partner out of the hotel. He showed them the confirmation that the hotel itself approved through Booking.com, but their response was simply: “Contact Booking.com, we don’t have a card on file.” This made no sense considering they had already charged my card a fee at check-in, meaning they absolutely did have my payment information. I emailed the hotel trying to resolve the issue, but instead of taking responsibility, they ignored my concerns and kept blaming Booking.com. Booking.com later confirmed that once the hotel approved the extra day, it became the hotel’s responsibility to process the payment. I understand mistakes happen, and not every staff member may fully understand how third-party bookings work. But kicking out paying guests, refusing accountability, and blaming the third-party company instead of trying to accommodate the situation was extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the TV didn’t work, there were stains on the glasses, and the room had a strange smell. Definitely will not be returning.

In comparison to other hotels I've stayed at, this one was disappointing in regards to cleanliness of our bathroom. The shower curtain was dirty, bath towels were stained and I was surprised to see no body wash in the shower or towels for bathing in the bathroom. Otherwise, only 1 trashcan was in our room, the lampshade was stained, the mattress was hard. Location was great, however, may find a different hotel for my next stay in the area.

Sorry for the 3 star RATING.... But I like to do Honest Reviews for folks, especially in todays society! Hotel was located fine, but Rooms are outdated and in need of serious overhaul. Most hotels (to include Choice hotels) today have better Wifi, AC wall mounted thermostats and AC units, updated bathrooms, not patchwork bathtubs from the 90's, bed was not bad, but pillows were so used/flat that we needed 2, heck even 3 to be equivalent to a normal Walmart type pillow. Very outdated set up even for the lights, no USB ports like you see with most hotels today and since 2015, just to name a few of the issues we had here. Anyways, sorry to bash! Wasn't all that bad, just outdated. Be ready if you're expecting the newer look here like you're seeing at most hotels. Staff was nice, parking options were plenty, food options in the morning were like any other hotel. Hope this review helps and can give others a more realistic expectation for this location, so that they are not disappointed! Had plans to have a Romantic and RELAXING weekend and it went about 80% to my expectations mainly due to the hotel issues!

Nice place for a one night stay! Very clean and has a great lobby/sitting area. Breakfast was included and had the waffle maker, omelettes and some sausage. The older gentleman working the breakfast area was great and very respectful! Hard worker!

At the right price, it's a solid choice. Breakfast was adequate with hot and cold choices. Coffee, not so much. The room was clean and neat. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a bit dated but well cared for. Good shower experience though I would bring your own toiletries. For a little more than the Red.Roof.inn, I would choose this one.

Booked this hotel for 2 nights in October. When I booked it the total was $314. When I was charged I was charged a total of $359 with no notice of the change in price. They stated that it's because my reservation was added to a group and I was changed at the group rate but at no point did anyone tell me that being added to the group would cost me an extra $45. Obviously I would have declined being added to the group. I didn't know about the change in cost until my credit card was charged. The reservation in their App never showed the change in price, and I didn't look at it multiple times leading up to the reservation.

Stayed up for Parents weekend for Suny Binghamton. I had booked late and the price was as expected for this, really high. Everyone was super nice. When we left, we ended up leaving a pair of Apple Headphones and Boots for my little one in the room. We didn't realize until we were about 45 miles on our way home. I called the hotel and spoke to Danielle in the front. She went out of her way to locate the two items. She then took them to the pack and mail place the next day, on her day off no less. Today she texted me and followed up again to make sure I got in contact with them. She didn't have to follow up, she didn't have to bring them to the place, she went above and beyond and provided service because she's a good human being and that's what she does. There are more people in the world like her than we realize and we out to acknowledge it when it does happen.
