This hotel has highly inconsistent reviews with two contrasting camps: recent bookings rave about modern, clean rooms and helpful staff, but numerous other guests report broken amenities, safety hazards like unlocked doors, and structural issues.
If I could give 0 stars I would Stuff is broken in my room(lights, random metal bits near window) Wifi dosnt work!! Even thoe it shows pictures of the pool there is infact no pool here(half the reason we chose this hotel) Basic cable without a smart tv or anything so can't use my paramount or nothing Heat set at 70(at home we set it at 74) is unbearablely hot Had someone sitting outside my window(im on the 3rd floor) bumping music until after 10pm called the front desk they said they would deal with it so I watched out the window and 10 min later I called the law because they were still out there bumping music and they were able to sit out in the parking lot bumping for another 15 min before they decided to go inside of this hotel You can see right above and below the doors to the rooms because they are either hung incorrectly The locks on the door are missing screws meaning they arnt very secure and to boot non of the doors on the side or back of the building actually require a keycard to get in so anyone can walk in and break down a door and make all the noise in the world killing you and leave without anyone trying to intervene We will never be back And considering me and my wife have always stayed with comfort I think we know what to expect and this ain't it!!
I’m writing this review from a different hotel, that we had to get last minute because this hotel was absolutely terrible. After a long drive up, we got there around midnight and were placed in a room with no latch. It also reeked of cigarettes and we had a wedding the next day so we asked to change rooms. The woman at the front desk was very unfriendly but placed us in a different room, but this one didn’t lock at all! The door was completely broken, and there was a giant gap where you could see in! We are two girls, traveling alone in a place we’ve never been. Of course we want to have our door at least lock! This is the bare minimum! A locking door. That is all I was looking for and they couldn’t even give us that. Ridiculous. Spend your money elsewhere, or spend the little extra money for your safety.
Extremely overpriced for what you get. Although the online search showed a price of $105, the room was actually $199. Front desk service was adequate, not friendly but also not rude. The room was OK, it was clean enough until I found a hair that wasn't mine in my bed the next morning...yuck. And there was no shower curtain for the bathtub. The whole hotel had a very impersonal and beige feel to it, no colour, sparse decor. It was very much like the sleep clinic I spent a night in, which I described to people as feeling like a no frills low budget hotel. I do not recommend for the price that they charge. We stayed in a much nicer Comfort Inn in MA for less money the night before.
I’m not entirely sure what all the negative reviews are about. The room was clean and well kept. No odors, the whole place actually smelt great. For a hotel that allows pets I was very pleasantly surprised. Tile and vinyl floor made staying with pets incredibly easy. Our room had towels, hand towels, and clean white sheets. Ac worked perfectly. The hotel also seems to have been updated at least within the last 10 years. It looked very modern and well maintained. Breakfast was also pretty solid. I worked with 2 front desk woman and both were very lovely! Housekeeping respected our privacy with our four legged friends and we appreciated it a ton. The only complaints I really have are that it was a touch pricey with 3 pets total, but, I understand that. and, that the tub was clogged , however, the woman working at the front desk made note of it quickly and put a work order into maintenance. With hotel prices these days, all and all it wasn’t a bad experience by any stretch of the imagination. I would for sure stay here again!
No tissues. No toilet paper. My room was left wide open, with the television at high volume, and the toilet was running because whoever entered my room does not know how to flush a toilet. Thank Gd none of my stuff was stolen but I felt absolutely violated. The front desk girl was very nice and said she is not in control but she will tell housekeeping they cannot leave the room open. They never gave me fresh towels. They made the bed and the blanket had a stain on it. According to choice I was supposed to be billed 102 per night plus tax.i am handed a paper that indicates 102 the first night and 117 for the second. Meanwhile they have me initial all potential threatening consequences if I messed up the room but the gave me a room with a damaged bathroom door, no tissues,an almost empty roll of toilet paper ,a dirty shower curtain.A blanket with a stain on it They left my room open so anyone could have walked in and stolen my stuff while I was at Binghamton for orientation. Good thing I returned as quickly as possible to my left open room so I could report it. I wanted something better but everything was booked so "choice," this place was not my first choice and as far as I am concerned they are a disgrace and are lucky I did not call the police to report how my room was left. Shame on you . I don't want to come back here ever again Disgusting and so expensive for nothing and I mean nothing. So many bad reviews and nothing changes from what I can see. The same fake response of I'm sorry you feel this way or what is it? I'm sorry for your experience. Stop being sorry and care about your customers.
First of all, shows a pool and there is no pool!!! Walked into our room, daughter used the bathroom and the entire bathroom was flooded! Went down, they did get us a new room… The breakfast was terrible, the ice marker doesn’t work, our fridge wouldn’t turn on!! Absolutely not worth 170.00 a night!! Learned an important lesson, will pay extra to stay in a better hotel!
No blackout curtains in the window. One very thin pull down shade. Did not block out the light from the neighboring car wash. Breakfast was a disaster. Not a large enough space to accommodate the number of guests. On this day, 8:30am was NOT the time to come down for breakfast as other guests were doing the same. That would be fine if it were 10-15. It was more like 40-50 at one time. One waffle maker created a line, nearly all of other choices were low or out. I was able to grab a bagel and cream cheese and took it back to my room. No places to sit down stairs.
The room was fine, the bathroom was outdated except for the giant/fancy LED/BLUETOOTH mirror. Only one garbage can for the whole room ( none in bathroom). Wandering around looking for an ice machine I was told by front desk it was broken. We wanted to watch TV and hang on the lobby for a bit ( well before 10pm), nope, TVS don't work. Breakfast was underwhelming , mostly gone by 8:30 ( ended at 9). I asked for yogurt, the few they put out were the only ones available ( they were gone). I left my room at 10:30 am and couldn't get back in to use the bathroom. Again, asked the front desk to be told no public bathroom. My family/friends are in Binghamton often, this won't be a hotel we will stay at again.
The bed here was sooooo comfortable!! I felt like i was sleeping on a cloud. Impressed on how clean the room was. Nice area, easy to get to. Staff was nice, breakfast was hot.
Some of the staff is absolutely amazing and very friendly and cleanly. I travel with a group that rents 5 rooms at a time and we were told we eat too much rudely and wouldn't let us have any food that was already made saying it was too early. Also watch your credit cards for double billing !!!!
