My husband and I have stayed at this Red Roof Inn many times over about a decade. We keep coming back due to the clean rooms and great overall value. The breakfast is also a nice touch!
I had pleasant stay at this motel .the room was clean , comfortable , and well maintained .the staff was friendly and helpful, making checki-in and check out smooth. The location was convenient , and overall it was a good value for the price . I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay .
Your typical 1.5? hotel room. Good bed, clean sheets. Plaster from ceiling falling down. At least 5 places where it had fallen. Shower drain backed up. Refrigerator had major discoloration (most likely mold) on its back wall. No attention to detail.
SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE IM WRITING MY FIRST EVER REVIEW. Do not come here if you’re looking to save money, they will scam you out of your deposit saying they smelled smoke from your room and that they need to check. Tried to book another night at 730 am, guy at the desk told me come back at 8:30 when the manager was in because it would be “easier” for the manager to book another night. When I came back the manager insisted I let them check the room because they “smelled smoke” from my room. This was not true and I told them not only did I not smoke , my 3 year old child was upstairs sleeping and they could not check the room. I let them know I wasn’t worried about the deposit and they could keep it , I just needed to book another night. They would not let me book another night in the same room unless they checked my room. I had to go back to my room, wake up my sleeping child, pack all of my daughter, wife and my own belongings and check out and get an uber to the next nearest hotel. The comfort inn is a much better choice btw. I went to the Marriott after though. All of this because they were trying to keep my $60 deposit. When I checked in they said “if you smoke you will not get the deposit back.” I told them to keep the deposit if you’re saying I smoked, cool. There was no reason for them to check the room. Horrible experience. Definitely don’t book here. NOT TO MENTION I JUST SPENT 9 DAYS IN A RED ROOF IN ROCHESTER, THEY DIDNT ASK TO CHECK MY ROOM ONE TIME AND I JUST GOT MY DEPOSIT BACK! I ONLY CAME TO THIS SPECIFIC HOTEL BECAUSE I HAD NO MONEY IN MY BANK AND THEY ALLOW YOU TO BOOK WITHOUT A CARD.
Breakfast wasn't fancy but had a good selection of food. Great location, reasonably priced and clean except for sticky floors. There was no hot water in the bathroom.
This is a nice hotel for the price. We got a superior king room, very clean. There was a lot of space, nice soft bed and comfy pillows. The employees are really nice. The breakfast is ok, bagels toast, waffles and apples.
We have stayed at this red roof at least twice a year for the past 15 years. We never eat the "breakfast" but do get coffee. For the first time, the coffee tasted like water. The thing that annoyed me the most was that I had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk for someone to show up, check me out and print me a receipt. The Clerk was surly, informed me that it was after 9 am and she was busy. This is unacceptable. We stay at Red Roof because our dog is accepted. Lucky for us, most places allow pets now.
Exactly what you should expect for a very good price. Staff was prompt, helpful and unfailingly polite. Room was clean and very serviceable. If you come in expecting ba 5 star hotel you will be disappointed, but judging it by the low price, it perfectly provides what it should.
Not fancy or high end but a clean and safe place to stay. Was quiet and the staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was simple but got the job done. Coffee, cereal, fruit, bagels, fresh waffles. Hotel was well kept inside and out. Was quiet and not a lot of noise or anything like that. No one was hanging around outside and we felt safe coming in and out. Great place to stay without breaking the bank.
I live in the neighborhood nearby and have stayed twice while doing home repairs. Both times they tried to pretend I didn't pay a "cash only" security deposit. They mostly host section 8 recipients, I would say they treat paying customers like their some sort of charity case, but charity requires kindness and they are so rude. Don't even get me started on the dirt and smell, guests using hard drugs at the park nearby. Any hotel in the area is better than this one. Apparently I'm banned now after getting into an argument about the cash deposit, but you couldn't pay me to go back.
