La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Binghamton - Johnson City receives generally positive reviews, particularly highlighting its friendly staff and convenient location near shopping and restaurants. However, recurring concerns exist regarding room cleanliness, bed quality, and occasional staff behavior, with some guests reporting issues like aggressive check-out procedures and rodent infestations.
It is SO nice. The rooms are clean and sleek. The location is excellent cuz wdym theres a dollar three just a block away from here. There’s other stores and the breakfast food was decent. The bed’s are slightly hard though but it wasn’t too bad. Overall 5/5 for everything else, will be seeing this hotel again soon!
Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Pillows too soft for me though. Still slept well. Breakfast was ok I must eat Gluten Free and there were a few options. When asked if she had GF options she was polite and said I'm sorry no. Coffee good. Well worth the money we paid.
The people that work here are super nice. The guy that checks us in on several Friday nights in the past year is very polite. He even called to see if we needed an extra cot for our two kids. The lady that runs the breakfast area on Saturday mornings, so friendly. Actually asked me if everything was good and sincerely said "If you need anything just let me know." Also, everyone is so nice to our ?. They put the friendly in pet friendly.
I usually don’t write reviews but when I feel disrespected at a place I’m suppose to call home for the next few days I have to say something. This was me and my husband third time staying here we loved it because it was in a great area around lots of shopping and food, the rooms were decent. So we decided to stay again for our dad’s funeral. It was time for check out we woke up late first bang on the door we was greeted with was yelling “Are you checking out today, check out was at 11:30”. We apologize we woke up late just give us sometime to get ready and leave. Next bang on the door 12 o’clock, like if cops where trying to bust in it was the employee yelling and screaming “GET OUT, GET OUT , GET OUT I DON’T CARE GET OUT”. When I mean this lady was rude I’ve never experienced anything like it, she threatened to call the cops meanwhile we were literally about to open the door to walk out the room. She continues to scream and yell as were walking to the elevator. Then states that we better be glade it was her and not the police. Yes we were late checking out, but this behavior from an employee wasn’t called for. And I refuse to stay here again. I’ve worked in customer service all my life and never experienced anything like this. Place is great but this one bad employee rude it all for me… so heed my warning. If you want to feel like disrespected this place is to you.
We arrived at 2 am without a reservation and the front desk gentleman was very kind and even gave us a discount on the room because of our every short accommodation with checkout at 11 am. Very pleased. Stayed at La Quinta Inn's previously and the rooms are clean and a good size.
The room was really nice overall, it was quite large and pretty clean. The shower was a little slow to drain so it created a small pool while showering and lifted up the bath floor a little bit for a short stay not an issue Check in was quick and easy we came late but there were still some good options for food open all around and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good overall I'd say it's a 4.5
Staff was OK, they did their job but without a warm, welcoming attitude. The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. I appreciate the pancakes rather than the waffles that are typical at many hotels. Nice change. The mattresses in my room were horrible. The bed I slept in had a deep depression where I slept, and I could see the depression on the other bed. The mattresses are in serious need of replacement. The pillows were almost non-existent they were so soft and worn. And the air conditioner turned on and off, but never changed the temperature in the room, despite my turning the temp down further in the middle of the night to try to cool the room off more. I need my room to be cool when I sleep, and I did not sleep well (I usually sleep very well in hotels) because of the bed and the warm room. The woman who worked the breakfast area was fantastic - friendly and helpful. She kindly told 2 gentlemen to take their dog out of the food area (after checking to make sure it was not a service dog), but I was disappointed and a little grossed out that dogs were allowed in the dining area. This was my first stay in La Quinta. If I know the air conditioning works and the mattresses replaced, I might stay again. I don't feel that my night was worth the $136.71 ($154.49 with all the extra charges) that I spent.
Staff always makes you feel welcome! Everybody staying there feel like family with our dogs, Clean, fluffy towels and nice bedding. We always enjoy our stay there.
Room was very clean and neat. It comes with a microwave was a plus besides meeting the need of travel nurses. Customer service was amazing with the complimentary breakfast and late check out if necessary. I will recommend this hotel to stay as I will be coming back. The only con is that it can be a little nosy at times but not enough to disturb you.
Honestly, the rooms were nasty. There were scratches and dents on the walls and doors. The closets wouldn’t close and the lighting was dim. Photos don’t represent what you’ll be saying in. I blame the building on being old and outdated. For $150, I was expecting something that didn’t resemble a motel 6. Staff was nice enough. Breakfast was basic, but it got the job done.
